The historical Dingley Dell Estate was acquired by W. Hansden in 1850s and later passed in hands of wealthy parsi businessman Dhanjebhoy and Kaiokabad in 1904 and then Sardar Uttam Singh in 1936. It was finally acquired by Khan Bahadur Raja M. Akram in 1960s and is now under the care and management of the great grandsons of Khan Bahadur.
